Aaliyah 1979-2001

This past Friday marked the fifth anniversary of R&B singer Aaliyah's death. She was one of my favorite R&B artists and she has influenced many of the new artists that have come after her. We love you Aaliyah and we'll never forget you.

Busta, busted someone upside the head...

Literally.

Busta Rhymes was arraigned Sunday on an Assault Charge in NYC according to the Associated Press. He was released, but feels that "This is Payback" for not telling his side of the story in the murder case of his bodyguard.He is due back in court Oct. 24. The New York Post said police believe Rhymes beat a man who spat on his car near Gramercy Park.

From what I'm hearing he is engaged to Alexis, the girl that was by his side during the accident. I wonder if it's true?? Well People Magazine said that they got this info from a source close to Kanye, and usally what People magazine says is true, but i'd wait for confrimation from Kanye himself. Also.. remember Kanye has an album coming out later this year so this could all be publicty for us to talk about him. who knows? Congrats to you Kanye if you is!
